Due to a long prolonged lower back injury I was experiencing tremendous pain which inhibited me from moving and exercising with ease. I had met with several doctors, taken all types of medication and undergone physical therapy with various practitioners but with had met with short term and limited success. I came across the Nova Spine & Injury as part of my ongoing research to find new treatments to manage my back pain. The information I read and heard from Dr. Shaffer sounded promising, I was also impressed with the facility and equipmment used at Nova Spine. So, I embarked on an extended spinal decompression treatment earlier this year coupled with specific rehabilitation exercises. I was amazed at the results and the progress that had been achieved through the treatment. I was able to move with ease (no pain, no Advil, no heating pads on my lower back!) and resume my regular exercise and travel regiments. Undergoing the treatment and care from Dr. Shaffer and his team was one of the best gifts I gave to myself.
